I gave this book a 4.25 ⭐️ rating and I have already borrowed the next one in the series from the library. As I read this book my mind was jumping from theory to theory which made it even more enjoyable.
I feel this style of writing also made me feel for Tandy much more as a character.

What I found even more unique was how the narrator Tandy spoke directly to the reader. I kept saying to myself ‘oh go on then, just one more chapter’. I found that Patterson and Paetro’s writing style was very easy to read and with incredibly short chapters it was often at times very hard to put down. As Tandy endeavours to clear the Angel family name she uproots some long-buried secrets and memories from her own past that have seemingly been wiped from her brain. We meet Tandy Angel on the night that her parents, Malcolm and Maud Angel, have been found murdered in their locked family apartment. Having not really delved into the never-ending world that is James Patterson, the blurb of Confessions Of A Murder Suspect really lured me in with its nod to dark family secrets, unsolved murders and a teen detective.
